Nokia Will Close The Media Share Service “Ovi Share” By The End Of May
Nokia announced will close Ovi Share on the end of May, said the move will help Nokia to shift the focus on core business.
Ovi Share is Nokia’s media sharing network service (originally called Twango), allowing users to upload and store photos, music, video, and support link share.
Ovi Share users can now log on http://share.ovi.com, package and downloadin your whole or part content. According to the plan, from March 13th, Ovi Share will close the upload service, May 30 is the last day of the users to download content, on 31 May, the Ovi Share service will be officially closed.
Nokia’s Location & Commerce department, which was formed in June 2011, will be the core of its new business strategy, to provide location-based Nokia Drive, Nokia Maps and Nokia Transport and other services.
The industry believes that Nokia is fully turned to the Windows Phone platform, so there is a need to sort out the core business.
